If you are traveling to Yosemite National Park and require a rescue response, chances are very good that this  Hackney will be what shows up at the scene. The department worked with Hackney’s engineering group to develop an apparatus that could carry all the equipment required for long distance responses in steep and rough terrain, as well as routine responses. The steep 18 degree angle of departure is a must in this part of the country.
